Located along the banks of the Taunton River from Commonwealth Landing to Columbia Street, Fall River Waterfront Cultural District (FRWCD) is a scenic walkable area known for its spectacular sunsets and charming blend of historic granite and brick mills, waterways, and green spaces. Its many amenities include boating, parks, passive and active recreation, art galleries, museums, exhibits, festivals, concerts, dining, community celebrations, cultural events, and entertainment for families.

The district is home to more than 60 entities, including boardwalks, a city park, a state park, a full-service marina, a pier, and restaurants and businesses. It has 13 physical assets on the National Register of Historic Places as well as unique tourist attractions, including Battleship Cove, an acclaimed nonprofit war memorial and historic military museum with the world’s largest collection of naval vessels, and The Maritime Museum, the site of an extensive Titanic collection that features the world’s largest replica of the ill-fated luxury liner.
